Minnesota Contractor Continuing Education

This package fulfills requirements for Minnesota contractor license renewal. Courses include:

• 1 hour of Energy Code
• 1 hour of Business Management
• 12 hours of electives

This 7 hour package examines what it means to establish and manage a business. This package is intended for contractors in the State of Minnesota, and will satisfy the 1 Hour of Business Management requirement. In this course we will examine the following topics:

• Ethics
• Communication
• Digital Marketing

A 1-hour review of the residential portion of Minnesota Energy Code. The class covers the ongoing process of adopting a new residential code in 2025. Every significant amendment to IECC-2012 when adapting it for the Minnesota Residential Energy Code is illustrated and discussed as a helpful review as well as in anticipation that many of the same amendments and issues will arise when adapting IECC-2021 for Minnesota. 

This 6-hour online course is approved by the state of Minnesota for continuing education credit. This course covers OSHA, Project Managment, Professionalism, Business Contracts, and Masonry.

This 6-hour course is intended to provide contractors in the state of Minnesota with continuing education required to maintain their contractor's license. This course covers project estimation and job costing, liability and risk management, building a structure’s exterior shell, and marketing and sales.

This course provides 6 hours of Minnesota-approved continuing education. The principal focus of this class is specialty construction practices including roof maintenance, construction of buildings in cold climates and lead safety.

This 1 hour course on business management is designed for contractors in Minnesota. This course will cover topics such as starting a business, writing a business plan, principles of management, accounting, and employee relations. This course meets requirement for 1 hour of business management.
